BIG OAK DAY CAMP

 

Camp Tuition Rates 2021

  • *Pre week is a 'stand-alone' week and can be purchased with or without additional weeks of camp.   When added with additional weeks the cost of the pre-week is reduced.

  • Sibling discounts: All discounts are applied internally by our Account Services Manager- Linda Schloo.  In order to receive a sibling discount you must register for at least 5 weeks of camp (not including pre-week).  The discount is applied to the second and subsequent children of the same family.   Have 3 children?  Contact Linda Schloo for 3rd child discount (Accounts@CampConcepts.org).

  • Multi-week discount:  As a stand-alone week, Pre-week is not included in any multi-week discounts.  Multi-week discounts apply to those registering for 5 or more weeks of camp (Little Buds must be full-day campers).

  • Lunch is included with all camps.  Snacks are provided for our Little Bud campers.  

  • PLEASE REVIEW OUR REVISED REFUND POLICY

  • Deposit: Our system will require a minimum 10% deposit to secure your registration for your child’s place at camp. The first $200 PER CAMPER plus the registration fee and online registration fee is NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERRABLE. There are no exceptions to this policy unless camp were ordered to be closed.  If the non-refundable threshold ($200 per camper) has not been met with initial deposit, any balance will be charged to the credit card on file to satisfy the non-refundable fees.

  • Tuition Balance & Balance Payment Plan  We want to be supportive of those families who may need a little more time to pay their camp tuition balance or who want to spread payments out over several months. If there is a reason that you need a little more time to pay your balance, simply contact us so we can work out payment arrangements with you. Please contact our Account Services Manager: Linda Schloo at   215-285-2537 or email at Accounts@CampConcepts.org.

 

Registration

For your convenience, registration is done online through our secure website. Select the REGISTER ONLINE NOW button which will take you through the simple process. Your newly established online camp account allows you to access your account, make payments and manage your child’s online health/medical information. May 1st is the end of the early registration fee of $25 (once per family).  All registrations after May 1st incur a $50 (once per family) registration fee along with the $5.95 online processing fee.  If you have registered for a Camp Concepts program before, you may click here to access your account.

 

Payment

Deposit and tuition balance may be paid by credit card or Echeck. After initial deposit and registration, additional tuition may be made by personal check payable to Camp Concepts, Business office: P.O.Box 304,  Jamison, Pa. 18929.

All payment or account questions can be directed to Camp Concepts Account Services manager: Linda Schloo at 215-285-2537 or accounts@campconcepts.org.    Monthly payments on your tuition account can automatically and securely be set up with a valid credit card on file.

 

Registering After MAY 1st, the following changes do apply:

  • any registrations will be assessed a $50 registration fee and a $5.95 online processing fee. Once per family.

  • no discounts will be available or applied.

A.M. or P.M. Extended Service for Big Oak Day Campers

As a convenience to those who need to drop off or pick up outside of our normal operating times (9:00-3:30 p.m.), we have extended care service available to add to your account.
 

  • A.M. Extended care will begin at 7:00 a.m. $75 per week

  • P.M. Extended care will be available until 5:30 p.m. $75 per week

  • Speak to Linda Schloo regarding Extended care discount when registering for 5 or more weeks of this service.

  • Single Day or Per occasional day use- for those unexpected meetings or delays, simply give us a call and the AM or PM service can be added on an as needed day basis for only $25 per day per service.
     

Campus Tours/Information Session

Winter Open houses will be on these selected Sundays:  February 28th, March 21st, and April 25th beginning at 3:00 p.m.  Each session lasts about 1 hour.  Children are invited and welcomed to attend.   Meeting location is in the gymnasium.  Please email us if you plan to attend:  CampConcepts@comcast.net.   We look forward to meeting you then; but always feel free to call and speak to the Executive Director (Steve Haines) at 267-261-4098.

Little Buds
at Big Oak Day Camp

Because we want to be as accommodating to the busy life and schedule of parents of our Little Buds, we opt for ​simple per-week rate structure.  Whereas attendance consistency at camp is very helpful to learn the routines and build frienships, we also know parents want the flexibility to choose their weeks. To ensure a smooth transition, we do require at least 2 consecutive weeks.   

  • Lunch is included with all programs.

  • Snack is included for all campers

  • Half-day campers can add A.M. Extended care which begins at 7:00 a.m. Contact Account Services Manager Linda Schloo for pricing.

  • There is a $25.00 registration fee and a $5.95 online registration fee assessed, once per family.

Child Care Reimbursement/Dependent Care Accounts

You may be eligible to pay for camp utilizing a dependent care account through your employer. The Federal Tax ID number for Camp Concepts is 74-3082740. Forms needing a signature can be done so in person during the summer or you may scan and email them to us.

 

Campus Location

The camp is conveniently held on the 20+ acre campus of the former St. John’s The Evangelist school located at the corner of Big Oak Rd and Makefield Rd- 752 Big Oak Rd, Yardley, PA. (Put Morrisville for GPS) The 20+ acre campus has beautiful and spacious playing fields, an air-conditioned stand-alone athletic center with a full-size basketball court, stage, kitchen, and classrooms. It also has an accompanying two-story school building with arts & crafts room, open common area and cafeteria section & kitchen.
