BIG OAK DAY CAMP

 

EARLY BIRD TUITION RATES UNTIL FEBRUARY 28, 2019

Because building community with campers ages 6-14 relies heavily on consistency, we offer cost-saving, multi-week choices.  Close friendships and connections are the result of time spent with others.  The majority of our campers spend 6 or more weeks with us each summer helping to build memorable & meaningful memories at camp.​

  • Lunch is included

  • There is a $25.00 registration fee and a $5.95 online registration fee assessed, once per family.

  • Early Bird rates are intended to be a cost savings measure for early commitments.

  • *Those signing up for 2-4 weeks should make those consecutive weeks of attendance.

  • Selected weeks cannot be removed or reduced, but may be changed. (for example, you cannot select 9 weeks then reduce to 6 weeks)

  • Any weeks added after the end of Early Bird rates will be at rate current at that time.

  • Teen travel consists of weekly off-campus trips. They are included in the 12-14-year-old tuition.  There are no trips scheduled for the pre-week (June 17-21)

Camp Tuition Rates After March 1, 2019

  • Lunch is included

  • There is a $25.00 registration fee and a $5.95 online registration fee assessed, 1 per family.

  • Teen travel consists of weekly off-campus trips. They are included in the 12-14-year-old tuition.  There are no trips scheduled for the pre-week (June 17-21)

 

After June 1st, the following changes do apply:

  • any registrations will be assessed a $50 registration fee and a $5.95 online registration fee. Once per family.

  • camp rates will be increased $10 per week.

  • no discounts will be available or applied.

A.M. or P.M. Extended Service for Big Oak Day Campers

As a convenience to those who need to drop off or pick up outside of our normal operating times (9:00-3:30 p.m.), we have extended care service available to add to your account.
 

  • A.M. Extended care will begin at 7:00 a.m. $60 per week

  • P.M. Extended care will be available until 5:30 p.m. $60 per week

  • Sign up for 8 weeks of either AM and/or PM extended care and receive AM for $55 per week and/or PM for $55 per week.  

  • Sign up for 9 weeks of either AM and/or PM extended care and receive AM for $50 per week and/or PM for $50 per week!

  • Per occasional day use- for those unexpected times, simply give us a call and the service can be added on an as needed day basis. $20 per day for either AM or PM.
     

For those who register multiple children for the same extended care service, we offer a discount to the second and successive child enrolled. Please contact Account Services Manager, Linda Schloo, for details: call 215-285-2537 or email  Accounts@CampConcepts.org.   All discounts will be internally applied to your account.

Little Buds
at Big Oak Day Camp

Because we want to be as accommodating to the busy life and schedule of parents of our Lil' Buds, we opt for ​simple per-week rate structure.  Whereas attendance consistency at camp is very helpful to learn the routines and build frienships, we also know parents want the flexibility to choose their weeks.  We encourage multiple week selection as well as consecutive week selections to provide for best transition and adjustment.  Prices listed above are per-week Early Bird prices valid thru February 28th.

  • Lunch is included in both 3 & 5 full days.   

  • Snack is included for all campers

  • Mini-day campers can purchase an extended day until 12:30 which would include lunch (contact Linda at 215-285-2537).  This service can be added on an individual day basis.  

  • There is a $25.00 registration fee and a $5.95 online registration fee assessed, once per family.

  • A.M. Extended care will begin at 7:00 a.m. $75 per week for 5- day and $50 per week for 3 -day campers.

  • P.M. Extended care will be available until 5:30 p.m. $75 per week for 5-day and $50 per week for 3-day campers.

  • Day of convenience- we can arrange AM or PM care for the ocassional day for $25 for the day.

Additional Information

Sibling Discount

We also offer a $20.00 per week sibling discount to the second and successive registered children who are in our five, full-day program.
 

  • *Receive 50% off tuition for the 3rd  registered child (from the same family) when registered for 4 or more consecutive weeks and only to those who register for a 5 full day program.

  • All sibling discounts will be applied to your account internally by our Account Services Manager, Linda (215-285-2537). Once you have completed your registration, you may call her or email her at accounts@campconcepts.org and she will apply discount.

  • Each camper receives a free BIG OAK CAMP T-shirt.

 

Deposit Policy

Initial deposit of 10% per camper is non-refundable and is due at the time of registration to hold your child’s place for selected camp(s). Also due at the time of registration is the online processing fee and registration fee (once per family)

 

Tuition Balance

The balance of tuition is due by May 15 (less initial deposit) for selected camp(s). Unpaid balance beyond May 15 will be subject to a $40 late fee and may also jeopardize attendance at any Camp Concepts camp.

 

Balance Payment Plan

We want to be supportive of those families who may need a little more time to pay their camp tuition balance. If there is a reason that you need a little more time to pay your balance, simply contact us so we can work out payment arrangements with you. Refund Policy

If for whatever reason, a parent withdraws their child from camp between May 15-June 1, an additional $100 cancellation fee will be charged and the remaining paid amount, less the original deposit, will be refunded. No refunds will be given after June 1st.

 

Registration

For your convenience registration is done online through our secure website. Select the REGISTER ONLINE NOW button which will take you through the simple process. Your newly established online camp account allows you to access your account, make payments and manage your child’s online health/medical information. May 31 is the end of the early registration fee of $25 (once per family).  All registrations as of June 1 incur a $50 (once per family) registration fee.  If you have registered for a Camp Concepts program before, you may click here to access your account.

 

Payment

Deposit and tuition balance may be paid by credit card or Echeck. After initial deposit and registration, additional tuition may be made by personal check payable to Camp Concepts, Business office: P.O.Box 304,  Jamison, Pa. 18929.

Child Care Reimbursement/Dependent Care Accounts

You may be eligible to pay for camp utilizing a dependent care account through your employer. The Federal Tax ID number for Camp Concepts is 74-3082740. Forms needing a signature can be done so in person during the summer or you may scan and email them to us.

 

Campus Location

The camp is conveniently held on the 20+ acre campus of the former St. John’s The Evangelist school located at the corner of Big Oak Rd and Makefield Rd- 752 Big Oak Rd, Yardley, PA. (Put Morrisville for GPS) The 20+ acre campus has beautiful and spacious playing fields, an air-conditioned stand-alone athletic center with a full-size basketball court, stage, kitchen, and classrooms. It also has an accompanying two-story school building with arts & crafts room, open common area and cafeteria section & kitchen.


Campus Tours/Information Session

Visit us.  Meet us and see our facility. February 10, or March 3rd. Each program starts at 4:00 p.m. at the  Parish Center gymnasium at St. John’s The Evangelist campus. Please arrive a few minutes early to register.  Please email us which event date you would like to attend.  Programs will last about 1 hour.

 

Pre Camp Orientation

There will be a counselor MEET & GREET Friday, June 14 from 7-8 p.m.  This is a chance to meet your child’s counselor and deliver any medications to the camp nurse.
