What is the Game Exchange Network?

The GE Network is an annual gathering of Physical Education teachers and camp personnel who collaborate together to share new games. Since 1995, area PE teachers from both private and public schools, as well as summer camp personnel have been getting together to share their most successful games.  The GE Network team has led workshops for the Southeastern District of PAAHPERD, MACSA, and has led a session at the PA/DE AHPERD state convention.

Want to attend?

If you are planning to attend the event this year, please follow these simple steps.

1. RSVP: Attendees must register for this event ahead of time.  Please fill out our online registration form and submit your payment of $50.00.  For your convenience, you may pay through secure payment apps such as VENMO
(@Steve-Haines-6)

If you need to pay by personal or school check, please make payable to: Camp Concepts and mail to  P.O. Box 304, Jamison, PA. 18929.   Receipts can be provided.

2. Prior to the event, we will send out a Game Exchange Network Game Form.  This is the form you will use to write up your game description.  To comply with required ACT 48 we must include Physical Education Standards.  Use this LINK to the National Standards.  Use this LINK to the PA State standards.  This year we will create a GOOGLE SHARE folder for all games to be uploaded and shared with those participating.   Because many attendees like to have the written game instructions to take notes on at the event, please bring 30 copies of each game with you.  We will give access to the online folder for download and print use.

3. Show up ready to have fun! Each teacher will take 10-15 minutes teaching/presenting to those in attendance on how to play your game. This allows everyone to play a few minutes of each game. (We will have a large collection of equipment on site for you to use. View the schedule for the day as well as the list of what equipment will be available by clicking here. Feel free to contact us if there is additional equipment that is needed and we will try to provide it for you.)
