Summer Explosion 2008 will be held from Monday, June 16-20, 2008. The camp day begins at 8:45 a.m. and goes until 3:00 p.m. Extended Care from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for an additional $65 for the week or $20 per occasional day.
The cost for this week of camp is $280. Please note that tuition includes lunch in the full service cafeteria and a free Summer Explosion T-shirt. A $100 deposit is due with the registration form.

Summer Explosion is held on the campus of George School, on Route 413 in Newtown, Pennsylvania. This beautiful 265-acre campus is complete with an 8-lane, 25-meter indoor swimming pool, 2 gymnasiums, acres of wooded lands, a 12-element low ropes challenge course, a full-service cafeteria and many other indoor buildings and facilities. about the directors

Steve Haines and Steve Bernardini are the founders and creators of Summer Explosion, Little Buds Day Camp & Expressions Day Camp. Together, they combine for over 36 years of experience in teaching, administering and directing camp programs.

Steve Haines, teaches middle school history, health and PE at Newtown Friends School during the school year. In addition, he also serves as Director of the George School Day Camp (http://www.gsdaycamp.org) Steve is married and is the father of five children.

Steve Bernardini teaches middles school math, science and PE at Buckingham Friends School during the school year. He also serves as Assistant Director of the George School Day Camp (http://www.gsdaycamp.org). Steve is married and is the father of two children.

Together, Steve & Steve are energetic and innovative leaders in teaching and designing games and activities that challenge kids. The camp has steadily grown to over 78 campers since its inception in 2000 when it started with 22 campers.
