Jim continues to serve as the lead tennis instructor at the George School Day Camp where he teaches all levels of kids, ages 6-14. He also conducts instructional classes for the Bucks County Tennis Association at local Park and Recreation sites for kids and adults of all ages and skill levels. Jim is a staff professional at Northeast Racquet Club and Riverside Racquet Club. "My goal is to give players a well-rounded exposure to the game of tennis. I work hard to create an atmosphere of fun so that the kids are enthusiastic about developing their skills and working with others." Not only will players develop an improved set of tennis skills, they will also learn a deeper understanding of the strategy game and a better knowledge of what it takes to play both singles and doubles tennis.
Jim's passion for teaching tennis is a second career for him. After enjoying a 35-year civililian career with the Department of the Navy, Jim took his long-time passion for the game and 12 years of playing experience and decided to dedicate himself to teaching tennis. "I believe the sport is not only a means of having fun, getting exercise, enjoying the friendships with teammates and the thrill of competition, but also serves as an opportunity to learn valuable life skills including strategizing, decision making, hard work, and commitment." Tennis is truly a lifetime sport because it can be enjoyed by any person, young or old.
