"I just had to email you, and tell you how much Jess is loving her summer at camp! We talk every day about all of the fun things she does, the crafts she makes, even what she eats for lunch! I just wanted to say thank you to you and your team for giving Jess so many wonderful experiences this summer. We were a bit nervous about her starting because she’s never been to camp before, and so we were thrilled that she’s come home every day, excited and bubbling about what a wonderful time she had." - Sheri (camp mom)

We believe two, three, four, and five year olds have a powerful urge and curiosity to learn about themselves and the world around them. The best opportunities for learning come from socialization, exploration and discovery. They largely foster these skills through creative play where they are given the opportunity to use all of their senses. The "Little Buds" program will provide an age appropriate program in a safe and nurturing environment. This well-balanced day camp program will seek to provide campers with the social, emotional and physical stimulation that is essential for this age group. Our mature and caring staff is made up of adults who work in the child care field, college students and some teenagers.
Little Buds Day Camp is held on the campus of George School, on Route 413 in Newtown, Pennsylvania. This beautiful 265-acre campus is complete with an 8-lane, 25-meter indoor swimming pool, 2 gymnasiums, acres of wooded lands, running stream, 2 playgrounds, working garden and greenhouse, and many other indoor buildings and facilities. For those interested, Little Buds will be offering an instructional swim program at an additional cost (see Instructional Swim Program listed above). The program will feature certified WSI instructors who will administer the Red Cross Swimming program. Additional water activities will include outdoor water play with sprinklers, small child's pool and water slides.
